TV show Anupama fame actress Rupali Ganguly has broken her silence on co-star and on-screen daughter Alisha Parveen’s exit from the show. Recently in one of her interviews, Rupali Ganguly clarified that she has no right on the casting decisions, which are decided by producer Rajan Shahi and the channel.
In her interview, Rupali Ganguly said, “I have no authority over the casting decision or other major show development. Such matters are completely controlled by Rajan Shahi and the channel. I have always given priority to professionalism and have dedicated myself to this show for the last five years.” He also mentioned distancing himself from backstage politics. It needs to be noted that Alisha Parveen, who played the role of Anupama’s daughter Rahi, has not accused Rupali of influencing her exit.
