Today, on the first day of the new year, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai held a meeting of the secretaries and heads of departments of all the departments in the ministry and gave instructions to bring transparency and transparency in the government work as well as to promptly and effectively resolve the issues related to the general public.     Chief Minister Sai bluntly said in the meeting that any laxity in administrative work will not be tolerated. He said that officers and employees from senior administrative officers to lower level should come to office on time and discharge their responsibilities with full promptness. Chief Minister Sai said that to achieve the goal of developed Chhattisgarh, we all will have to work with team spirit.

    He said in the meeting that in the year 2024, we have fulfilled the major guarantees of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The year 2025 is the silver jubilee year of Chhattisgarh. The Silver Jubilee year has special significance for Chhattisgarh, hence discharge your responsibilities with great enthusiasm and devotion. The Chief Minister instructed the officials to resolve the pending files promptly by conducting a special campaign. He gave instructions to smoothly implement the e-office system in all offices including the Ministry.

    CM Sai said that he himself will review the work of all the departments. Instructing all the departmental secretaries to regularly review their departments, he said that along with virtual review every month, physical review should also be done every 3 months. Also, try to resolve the problems arising in the implementation of big schemes in a timely manner and inform the Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary. The Chief Minister said that it is necessary to solve the problems of the common man on time.

    Chief Minister Sai said that our focus should be on ease of living and ease of doing business. There is a very good investment environment in Chhattisgarh right now. Chhattisgarh’s Industrial Policy 2024-2030 is being appreciated in the entire country. Take special care to ensure that investors get the benefits of the new industrial policy.

    He said that the law and order situation in the state should be strengthened. He said that in the last one year we have achieved great success on the Naxal front. We have been successful in establishing peace in Naxal affected areas. There is a need to take the government schemes to Naxal affected areas. It is very important that the people of the area get the benefits of the Niyad Nella Naar scheme. We have opened many security camps in Naxalite areas. Keep in mind that the work of the concerned department which comes under the Niyad Nella Naar scheme, should be completed in these areas at a speedy pace. It is an act of service to extend the benefits of government schemes to the remote tribal dominated areas of Chhattisgarh.

    The Chief Minister said that the secretaries in charge of the districts should visit the districts every 2 months. During this time, they should go to the interior areas of the district and collect field information, only then the actual status of implementation of the schemes at the ground level will be known. He instructed the secretaries in charge to compulsorily inform the Chief Secretary and Principal Secretary about the situation during their visit to the district.

    Chief Minister Sai also instructed to take special care of administrative tightness in the districts. The Chief Minister said that a lot of attention needs to be paid to the traffic system also. Nowadays many road accidents are happening. Strong arrangements should be made to prevent road accidents by running a campaign so that it can be reduced. There is a need to strictly stop smuggling of intoxicants from other states in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Sai said that in the last one year, good efforts have been made to prevent illegal drug trade, there is a need to speed it up further.

    Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary, Director General of Police Ashok Juneja, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest and Forest Force Chief V Srinivas Rao, Principal Secretary, Secretary and Head of the Department and other officers were present in the meeting.
