Shivam Mishra, IED Blast in Chhattisgarh: On Monday (January 6, 2025) in Naxal-affected Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh, Naxalites attacked the vehicle of DRG soldiers of Dantewada. The attack was so terrible that 8 soldiers traveling in the vehicle were martyred and a driver also died. The video and pictures after this horrific attack also came out, which left everyone’s heart shivering when they saw it, because in this horrific blast, a crater more than five feet deep was created on the spot due to the explosion. The bodies of the soldiers also got mutilated in the blast. Now the names of these brave soldiers have come to light.

NIA team reached the spot
After the Naxalite attack in Bijapur, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) team has also reached the spot and started investigation. NIA forensic team has also reached the spot.
President Draupadi Murmu condemned the attack
President Draupadi Murmu has condemned this cowardly act of Naxalites and expressed his condolences to the martyrs. He has issued a post on X regarding this attack, in which he wrote – “The Naxalite attack on security forces in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh is condemnable. I express my deepest condolences to the bereaved families of the brave soldiers who made supreme sacrifice for the safety of the country. Our country is determined to completely end Naxalism.”

The joint team was returning from a special operation at the time of the attack.
Let us tell you that at around 2 pm on Monday afternoon, the team of soldiers from Dantewada, Narayanpur and Bijapur were returning after searching in the ongoing special operation against Naxalites. Then Naxalites carried out this horrific IED attack near Ambeli village on Kutru-Bedre road, about 40 km from Bijapur headquarters.
