Ranchi. Chief Minister Hemant Soren will hold an important review meeting on the state’s law and order on 27 May. In this high-level meeting, other topics including illegal infiltration and big criminal incidents will be discussed intense. Chief Secretary, Home Secretary and Director General of Police (DGP) will be present personally in this meeting to be held at Project Bhawan in Ranchi. While the zonal Police Exhibitor (IG), Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) of the range, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of all districts and Superintendent of Police (SP) will participate in this meeting through video conferencing. Preparations are being made at the Jharkhand Police Headquarters for this meeting. At the same time, on May 26, just one day before the review meeting of the Chief Minister, the DGP will also hold a review meeting with the SP of the districts on these subjects.

– Crimes against women, their prevention and progress to provide justice to the victims.
– Control of atrocities against unannounced caste and Scheduled Tribes and action in matters related to them.
-Discussion on increasing land disputes in the state and the challenges of law and order arising from them.
– Effective control over the incidents of mobile lynching and strict action against individuals involved in such incidents.
– Review of security arrangements of legislators, MPs and other important persons.
– Discussion on measures to ensure security premises and security of judicial officers.
Measures to maintain communal harmony in the state and prevention of communal events.
– The strategies arising between different castes and the strategy of the police administration to deal with them.
Regarding control of acid attack incidents and assisting to the victims.
– Illegal mining activities issued in the state and action to stop them.
– Tightening the illegal lottery business and legal action in such cases.
– Steps taken to control illegal liquor, selling and smuggling.
