Former Indian cricketer Saba Karim analyzed the upcoming Qualifier 2 match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Punjab Kings (PBKS), favoring MI due to their current strong form. He also expressed his hopes for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) to win the Indian Premier League (IPL) for the first time. Karim’s comments were made during the Fit India ‘Sundays on Cycle’ initiative in Delhi. Discussing the MI-PBKS clash, Karim highlighted MI’s momentum and robust bowling attack as key factors for their potential victory. PBKS, despite topping the league stage, suffered a significant loss to RCB, while MI showcased a strong batting performance against Gujarat Titans (GT). On Virat Kohli, Karim acknowledged his exceptional performance and wished RCB success in the tournament. Virat Kohli has scored 614 runs in 14 matches with an average of 55.81. Saba also discussed India’s upcoming England tour, led by Shubman Gill, seeing it as a good opportunity for young players. He further praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recognition of young batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Suryavanshi had an impressive IPL season, scoring 252 runs in seven matches, including a century. The England tour starts from June 20 with the first Test at Leeds.
