Indian cricketer Rinku Singh is engaged to Samajwadi Party MP Priya Saroj, with wedding plans set for later this year. Singh’s journey includes a notable achievement of hitting 5 sixes in a match against Gujarat Titans in 2023. However, prior to this, he faced a three-month suspension from the BCCI in 2019 for participating in an unauthorized T20 competition in Abu Dhabi. This suspension also led to his exclusion from the India A squad. The BCCI’s regulations prohibit players registered with the board from participating in foreign tournaments without prior permission. Rinku Singh’s IPL career began with Punjab Kings before he became a key player for Kolkata Knight Riders. He has played 2 ODIs, scoring 55 runs with an average of 27.50. In the 2025 IPL auction, KKR acquired him for Rs 13.00 Cr. In his last IPL match on May 5, 2025, against SRH, he scored 9 runs.

Priya Saroj, at 25, is a prominent MP representing Machhlishahr, Uttar Pradesh. She entered politics after her father, Tufani Saroj, a politician, and previously worked as a law professional, gaining experience at the Supreme Court. Her entry into politics was unexpected initially.
