A significant development has emerged in the controversial Meghalaya honeymoon murder case involving Sonam Raghuvanshi and her husband, Raja Raghuvanshi. After disappearing on May 23, Sonam was located after a 17-day search. Ghazipur Police apprehended her, alleging she orchestrated the murder of her husband. Sonam reportedly contacted her brother to confirm her well-being.

Sonam, originally from Indore, was found in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, early Monday morning. Indore police took immediate action and traveled to Gazipur upon receiving the information. Sources indicate she was found in a disheveled state and is currently in the Sakhi One Stop Centre, a shelter for female victims of violence.

Sonam Raghuvanshi’s father, Devi Singh, addressed the media, stating, “Sonam came to a dhaba in Ghazipur. She called her brother, Govind. Police went there and took her to the Police Station.” He refuted the accusations, adding, “100% false allegations are being made against Sonam.”

He also questioned the investigation, stating, “Police bikk gayi hai… I request to send CBI to investigate how the stuff kept in the activa reached near the body.” When asked about Sonam’s arrival at the dhaba, he responded, “Only Sonam can tell this. The couple had Rs 70,000. Raja had a chain and two rings, while Sonam had a chain around her neck, bracelet, anklet, and money…”
