Traffic Policemen Attacked in Ranchi: Auto Drivers Involved in Violent Assault

In Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, a disturbing incident unfolded as traffic police personnel were brutally attacked by auto drivers. The assault took place in broad daylight at the Kathal Mor area under the Nagri police station jurisdiction. Video footage of the incident, captured by onlookers, has gone viral on social media, depicting the violent clash. According to reports, the auto drivers used stones to attack the traffic police officers, with one officer, identified as Rohit Ganjhu, sustaining serious head injuries. He has been admitted to RIMS Hospital in Ranchi for treatment. Authorities are actively searching for the auto drivers involved, and the Ranchi Traffic SP has vowed to take strict action against the perpetrators. The Nagri police station in-charge is investigating the matter.
