Following the May showers, which provided a pleasant weather respite, Delhi and several other states are now grappling with rising temperatures. The capital city recorded a high of 45 degrees Celsius on Monday, with intense heat throughout the day. The NCR region faced scorching conditions due to clear skies and strong sunlight. The heatwave is predicted to persist, with the maximum temperature expected to reach 44 degrees Celsius and the minimum 29 degrees Celsius. Dust-laden winds and a heatwave are likely. Relief is expected from June 13th, with the weather department forecasting rain. Uttar Pradesh is also experiencing heat. The weather department has issued an orange alert for a heatwave in several districts. Rain is anticipated to return from tomorrow, with an alert for rain and thunderstorms in 60 percent of UP districts on June 12th. Bihar is expected to see a change in weather overnight, with the arrival of the monsoon and heavy rainfall from tomorrow. Jharkhand is also expecting a change in weather, with strong winds and rain expected in many districts from today until June 14th. Rajasthan is experiencing a return of the heat, with the highest temperature recorded in Sri Ganganagar at 47.3 degrees Celsius. The weather department anticipates dry weather and a heatwave in most parts of western Rajasthan for the next week. Light rain might occur in the Kota and Bharatpur divisions on June 15-16. Haryana and Punjab are also expected to face intense heat this week.
