Delhi Under Orange Alert as Heatwave Grips North India; Rainfall Expected in Several Regions

The Meteorological Department forecasts no immediate relief, with strong surface winds and an orange alert for heat expected for two days. Light rain and thunderstorms are anticipated on June 13-14, with more rain likely on June 15-16. Uttar Pradesh faces a heatwave in 17 districts, while 14 districts may experience light clouds. Bihar is under varying weather conditions, with an orange alert for rain in North Bihar and a yellow alert for humid heat in South Bihar. Jharkhand is also expecting rainfall across the state. Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana are also experiencing severe heat with no immediate relief expected. Uttarakhand may see rain and wind, and Himachal Pradesh is likely to have a change in weather from June 13 with thunderstorms and rainfall.
