In a bid to foster wellness and community bonds, the Border Security Force (BSF) 112 Battalion orchestrated a special yoga session on the scenic banks of the Jhelum River in Baramulla, just a day prior to International Yoga Day. The event witnessed active participation from BSF personnel and local residents, uniting in a harmonious display of well-being and camaraderie.

Set against the peaceful backdrop of the flowing Jhelum River, the yoga session provided an ideal setting for participants to immerse themselves in the practice. The tranquil environment not only enhanced the experience but also highlighted the significance of mental and physical health benefits that yoga provides.

Yoga is celebrated for its diverse advantages, including improved flexibility, strength, and body awareness. Furthermore, it serves as an effective tool for alleviating stress and anxiety, making it a suitable choice for encouraging well-being in today’s fast-paced world.

The collaborative event not only promoted individual health but also strengthened the relationship between the BSF and the local community of Baramulla in North Kashmir.

This inspiring event was jointly organized by the BSF 112 Battalion and the civilians of Baramulla. As International Yoga Day approaches, this initiative serves as a reminder of the power of community and the importance of self-care and mindfulness.

Nakul Vaid, Commanding Officer of 112 BN BSF, conveyed his appreciation for the attendance and emphasized the importance of such events in encouraging peace and wellness among the local populace.
