Karisma Kapoor’s Children Grieve at Father Sunjay Kapur’s Funeral, Kareena Kapoor Offers Support

Industrialist Sunjay Kapur, ex-husband of Karisma Kapoor, passed away in London at the age of 53. His funeral took place in Delhi after a delay caused by citizenship issues. The final rites were held at the Lodhi Road Cremation Ground, where Karisma, along with her children Samaira and Kiaan, paid their respects. Kareena Kapoor Khan was present to support Karisma, and a video showed her offering comfort. Samaira and Kiaan were seen embracing each other in an emotional moment. Saif Ali Khan also attended the funeral. A prayer meet will be held at the Taj Palace Hotel in Delhi on June 22. Karisma was seen with her children at the Mumbai airport en route to Delhi earlier in the day, with Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan also traveling to join the family. Sunjay Kapur was the chairman of Sona Comstar and a prominent figure in the automotive industry. He was also the Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Northern Region. Sunjay and Karisma divorced in 2016 but co-parented their children.
