The fourth season of ‘Panchayat’ has premiered on Prime Video, leaving fans eager for more. The series follows Abhishek Tripathi, who becomes a Panchayat secretary due to a lack of job opportunities, and becomes entangled in village politics. Season 4’s conclusion, marked by a significant cliffhanger, has prompted questions about a potential fifth season.
The season concludes with Pradhan ji and Manju Devi losing the Panchayat election to Bhushan and Kranti Devi. This outcome casts uncertainty over Abhishek’s future in Phulera and jeopardizes the positions of Pradhan and Manju.
Actress Saanvika, who plays Rinky, shared in an interview that the development of a fifth season is underway. She stated that the release is expected by the middle or sometime next year, with shooting possibly starting at the end of this year or early next year. Writing for the new season has already commenced.
