A workshop held in Dehradun on June 25, 2025, brought together the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) and the Uttarakhand Film Development Council (UFDC) to strategize the elevation of Uttarakhand as a leading film production destination. The event, themed “Developing the Filming Ecosystem in Uttarakhand,” saw participation from key figures in the film industry, government officials, and policy experts. Discussions covered policy reforms, infrastructure development, and strategies for enhancing local talent.
