A devastating event unfolded at the Brihaspati Kund waterfall in Madhya Pradesh’s Panna district, claiming the lives of three individuals. A joint team from the SDERF (State Disaster Emergency Response Force) units of Satna and Panna districts recovered the bodies after an extensive search operation.

Authorities reported that the victims had gone for a swim in the waterfall when they were caught in deep water. The deceased have been identified as Abhishek Dhimar, Krishna Sharma, and Twarit Choudhary.

In a separate incident, a passenger bus collided with a truck on the Raipur-Jagdalpur National Highway near village Kendri, resulting in three fatalities, including a woman, and six injuries. This occurred under the jurisdiction of the Abhanpur Police station.

Furthermore, in Chinnakamanpatti, near Sivakasi, a powerful explosion at a firecracker factory led to the deaths of at least four people, with five others sustaining injuries. The injured were admitted to the government hospital in Virudhunagar for treatment.
