The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings for heavy rainfall across several parts of India. Active monsoon conditions are contributing to dynamic weather patterns in the Northeast, Northwest, Central, and West regions. Extremely heavy rainfall is predicted for Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and North Gujarat over the next three days. The IMD has cautioned residents to prepare for potential disruptions. Several areas are already experiencing severe flooding, prompting the issuance of red and orange alerts, including in Delhi. Continuous showers are expected in Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh throughout the week. Madhya Pradesh is forecast to receive incessant rainfall from July 14 to 18; Chhattisgarh from July 16 to 18; West Bengal and Sikkim from July 14 to 15; Bihar from July 15 to 17; and Jharkhand and Odisha from July 14 to 15. Isolated heavy rainfall is also anticipated in Tamil Nadu (July 15-18), Kerala & Mahe, and Coastal Karnataka (July 14-18), and South Interior Karnataka (July 15-18).
