For the first time, approximately 30 Bangladeshi nationals residing illegally in Chhattisgarh are being deported. These individuals were apprehended across various districts, including Raipur, Durg, Rajnandgaon, Raigarh, Mohla-Manpur, and Chirmiri. Following established procedures, they were taken into custody, and arrangements were made for their repatriation. Raipur police are set to hand them over to the Border Security Force (BSF), which will facilitate the deportation process at the Assam-Bangladesh border. The entire procedure is scheduled to be completed today. It’s important to note that those against whom FIRs have been filed will not be immediately deported and will remain in India until their cases are resolved in court. Only after a court decision will they be sent back to Bangladesh.
