In a brutal act, Naxalites in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district murdered two villagers, accusing them of being police informers. The incident took place in Chutwai village, under the Tarretam police station area. The Small Action Jagargunda Area Committee claimed responsibility for the killings. State Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao condemned the act, stating that the Naxalites were resorting to cowardly actions out of desperation. This incident occurred just three days after security forces eliminated seven Naxalites in an encounter in Narayanpur district.
