Monsoon activity has once again intensified in Chhattisgarh. According to the forecast from the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rainfall is expected in the central and southern parts of the state for the next five days. Changes in the weather are anticipated due to the influence of the monsoon trough and cyclonic circulation. Specifically, some areas in the Sarguja division have been warned of moderate to heavy rainfall with thunderstorms.

In the last 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall was recorded in several places across all divisions of the state. The highest temperature was 33.5 degrees Celsius in Rajnandgaon, while the lowest temperature was 20.6 degrees Celsius in Durg.
