Microsoft is preparing to release several new AI-powered features for Windows 11 users, including the Copilot Vision tool. This tool allows users to analyze content visible on their screen and ask questions about it. Users can also ask Copilot to perform actions like enhancing the lighting in a picture. These features are expected to roll out gradually to all users. Copilot Plus PC users will also have access to exclusive features, such as the “Click to Do” preview, which enables users to summarize paragraphs or improve reading fluency. Additional updates include an AI-powered sticker generator in Paint, an object select tool for image editing, a new AI lighting option in Photos, and a precise screenshot tool using AI. The rollout is scheduled to begin in August, alongside non-AI related features like a color picker for the Snipping Tool and a mechanism to auto-fix unexpected PC restarts.
