    Air India has decided to increase the retirement age for pilots to 65 years and for other employees to 60 years. Currently, the retirement age for both pilots and other employees in the airline is 58 years. The announcement regarding the increase in retirement age was made by CEO and MD Campbell Wilson at the airline’s town hall. The retirement age for Air India pilots will be increased to 65 years, and the retirement age for other employees will be increased to 60 years. Air India has approximately 24,000 employees, including about 3,600 pilots and about 9,500 cabin crew members. It was not immediately clear whether the retirement age of the cabin crew, which is currently 58 years in Air India, has been increased or not.
