Maruti Suzuki has introduced the Grand Vitara Phantom Blaq edition to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Nexa retail channel. As the flagship SUV for Nexa, the Grand Vitara Phantom Black Edition is designed with premium styling in mind. The company states that this variant caters to individuals seeking style in every drive.

Design:
Based on the Alpha Plus variant with a strong hybrid powertrain, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Phantom Black Edition maintains the core design of the mid-size SUV, with some distinctive cosmetic changes. It features a brand-new matte black exterior paint finish, an all-black interior like the standard Grand Vitara, faux leather upholstery, and champagne gold accents.

The new edition mirrors the features of the standard Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Alpha Plus strong hybrid. It includes ventilated front seats with faux leather and a panoramic sunroof. The cabin is equipped with a 9-inch Smartplay Pro+ infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, and a Clarion sound system.
For safety, it offers a 360-degree view camera and a head-up display (HUD). Additionally, Suzuki Connect remote access is provided. It includes 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Hill Hold Control, reverse parking sensors, 3-point seat belts with reminders, and more.

The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Phantom Black features a 1.5-liter self-charging hybrid powertrain, known as the ‘Intelligent Hybrid System,’ paired with an e-CVT gearbox. This powertrain delivers a combined output of 114 bhp, where the engine produces 91 bhp and 122 Nm of torque, while the motor generates 79 bhp of power and 141 Nm of torque. Maruti claims the strong hybrid version of the Grand Vitara has a fuel efficiency of 27.97 km/liter.
