Serious accusations have been leveled against the Election Commission by the Congress and various opposition parties for several days. Rahul Gandhi presented a presentation on the matter recently, which led to considerable controversy. Following the Congress’s allegations, the Election Commission held a press conference on Sunday. In this, the commission presented its side and warned the opposition parties not to engage in politics by using them as a shield.

Now, opposition political parties have expressed their displeasure over this matter. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge mentioned the possibility of an impeachment motion against the CEC during the India bloc meeting. A proposal has also been brought up in the meeting regarding this. However, a final decision on this has not yet been made.
