China has communicated to India its decision to lift export restrictions on vital goods, including fertilizers, rare earth magnets and minerals, and tunnel boring machines. This move follows discussions between Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi last month, where Jaishankar raised these concerns. During Wang Yi’s three-day diplomatic visit to India, he reportedly assured Jaishankar that Beijing had already begun addressing India’s requests. Reports suggest that China has already started shipping these critical items to India.
