    Following discussions with Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the creation of a collaboration roadmap for the next decade. He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Ishiba for the warm welcome and cordial words. The discussions held today were productive and purposeful.

    Both leaders agreed that the partnership between the world’s two largest economies and vibrant democracies is of utmost importance, not only for both nations but also for global peace and stability. The partnership between India and Japan is built on mutual trust, reflecting national priorities and shaped by shared values and beliefs. A target of 10 trillion yen in investment from Japan to India has been set for the next 10 years.

    PM Modi emphasized the significance of India-Japan cooperation for global peace and stability, adding that a strong foundation for a new and golden chapter in the India-Japan Special Strategic and Global Partnership has been laid.
