A three-day all-India coordination meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) concluded on Sunday. The meeting, held in Jodhpur, focused on the situations in several states, expressing particular concern. Discussions centered on Punjab, West Bengal, and the Northeast, especially Manipur.

During a press conference on the final day, National Publicity Head Sunil Ambekar outlined the meeting’s discussions. He stated that concerns were raised regarding drugs and conversions in Punjab. The RSS is working with the backward classes to prevent religious conversions. The meeting thoroughly discussed the issues of religious conversions and the increasing drug use among the youth in Punjab.

Concerns were also expressed about the impact of drugs in Punjab, and how the RSS’s various organizations could assist in guiding young people on the right path. The meeting also addressed providing counseling and rehabilitation to those ensnared in the drug and substance abuse networks.

The coordination meeting also voiced serious concerns about Bangladeshi infiltrators in West Bengal. The meeting emphasized the need to stop the illegal entry and settlement of Bangladeshi infiltrators in India. Disruptive activities by Bangladeshi immigrants against local residents in Bengal were deemed unacceptable.

It was stated that the disturbances caused by Bangladeshi and Rohingya citizens in West Bengal must be stopped immediately. The meeting expressed concerns over the recent unrest caused by Bangladeshis residing in the border areas of West Bengal. Legal complaints have been filed against them.

Additionally, the meeting held special discussions on the situation in the Northeast. It was noted that separatist movements and violence are decreasing. The meeting also highlighted the progress and development occurring there. Several affiliated organizations of the RSS are working effectively in the Northeast.

Sunil Ambekar mentioned that the RSS is attempting to foster better coordination between different tribal groups. He said that efforts are being made to restore relations and harmony between the Meitei and Kuki communities in Manipur. He noted that the recent talks between the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Kuki community had resulted in the opening of National Highway 2 for Meitei people. He stated that such actions are building mutual trust, and the RSS hopes the situation will normalize completely soon.

In addition, the RSS meeting also expressed concern over the floods that occurred in states like Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal, and Uttarakhand. Sunil Ambekar reported that RSS workers are working day and night among the affected people.
