Former England opening batsman Jason Roy was also unsold in the SA20 auction. Roy, who played for Southern Brave in The Hundred 2025, was not picked up by any team. He didn’t perform well in The Hundred 2025, scoring only 198 runs in 8 matches at an average of 28.28, including one fifty.
Afghanistan’s veteran wicketkeeper-batsman Rahmanullah Gurbaz was also unsold. Gurbaz is currently out of form. He has scored only 132 runs in his last 10 T20I matches.
