    Deepak Saxena, a 2010 batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Commissioner of Public Relations in the Madhya Pradesh government led by Mohan Yadav. Saxena previously served as the Collector and District Magistrate of Jabalpur. He commenced his duties by meeting with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and subsequently assumed charge at the Public Relations Directorate. During this, he interacted with department officials. Saxena is known for his clean image and strong administrative record, especially concerning accountability. He is expected to improve the image of the Madhya Pradesh government by ensuring timely dissemination of information about government schemes to the public and facilitating communication between the public and the government. Saxena is also known for his stance against corruption.
