Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has extended his congratulations to the CRPF’s Cobra commandos, Chhattisgarh Police, and DRG personnel for their significant successes on the Naxal front in the Gariaband and Narayanpur districts. In Gariaband district, an encounter resulted in the elimination of 10 Naxalites. Notably, this included Modem Balakrishna, also known as Manoj, a member of the central committee with a reward of 1 crore, marking a historic achievement in the Naxal eradication campaign. Simultaneously, in Narayanpur district, Naxalites have chosen to surrender. A total of 16 Naxalites, including members of the Janataana Sarkar, Panchayat Militia Deputy Commanders, Panchayat Government members, and Justice Branch heads, have surrendered and resolved to join the mainstream society. Chief Minister Sai stated that these events are clear evidence that the false ideology of the Naxalites is faltering and that a new dawn of trust, development, and peace is rising in Chhattisgarh. Guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and under the leadership of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, it is believed that the goal of a ‘Naxal-free India’ will be achieved by March 2026.
