Israel launched approximately 10 attacks in Doha, the capital of Qatar, resulting in six fatalities, including a Qatari security force member. This is considered a new red line crossed by Israel, as it openly admitted to attacking a GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) country for the first time.

Qatar strongly condemned Israel’s attack and stated it would respond. However, the question remains: how? According to Middle East expert Andreas Krieg, the response will likely be through diplomacy and legal channels, which Qatar knows best. There is little chance that Qatar will retaliate against Israel on its soil like Iran, or even if it is in a position to do so.

Following the attack, all Arab countries expressed support for Qatar and condemned Israel. Yet, there has been no response to Israel’s attacks. The question persists: will powerful Arab nations display the same resolve as Iran? To answer this, we must understand the differences between Arab countries and Iran.
