Sushila Karki, having assumed the role of interim Prime Minister, is set to form the interim government in Nepal. In a Sunday address, she emphasized the nation’s need for its youth. It is anticipated that her cabinet will include several young leaders. The ministers of the new interim government are scheduled to be sworn in on Monday. Key ministers for Karki’s interim government have been finalized. According to sources at Sheetal Niwas (Presidential House), Om Prakash Aryal, Rameswor Khanal, and Kulman Ghising are likely to take the oath. Sushila Karki took the oath as Nepal’s Prime Minister on September 12. Following the oath, she stated that the youth had ousted the KP Sharma Oli government due to its corruption. She affirmed her commitment to eradicating corruption and meeting the expectations of the youth. Karki stated on Sunday, “We will not stay here for more than six months under any circumstances. We will fulfill our responsibilities and hand over the command to the next parliament and ministers.” The President of Nepal has announced that general elections for a permanent government will be held on March 5.
