    A 30-year-old tech professional from Telangana, India, was fatally shot by police in California, United States, following an incident where he allegedly stabbed his roommate. The victim, identified as Mohammed Nizamuddin, had moved to the US in 2016 for higher education. His family has voiced concerns of racial discrimination and is urging a comprehensive investigation into the events leading to his death. The family, residing in Mahabubnagar, Telangana, is seeking assistance from both the Indian and Telangana state governments to facilitate the return of his body to India. Nizamuddin was found at his residence in Santa Clara on September 3rd with a knife, in a situation where his roommate had sustained injuries. His father, Mohammad Amsuddhin, has appealed to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) to expedite the repatriation of his son’s remains. He stated that Nizamuddin had been working in California after moving there on a promotion from Florida, where he initially studied.
