In the forested regions of Chhattisgarh, a fresh encounter has unfolded between law enforcement and Naxal insurgents. Following intelligence regarding the presence of high-ranking Naxal leaders, a joint operation was launched by DRG and BSF personnel. The clash reportedly took place in the Koyalibeda police station area. While the Naxals managed to escape during the confrontation, security forces seized a substantial cache of weapons and Naxal-related materials from the scene. A search operation is currently ongoing in the area. This incident follows a successful operation on Monday along the Abujhmad-Maharashtra border, where security forces neutralized two members of the Central Committee. The deceased Naxals were identified as Vikalp, also known as Ramchandra, who served as a spokesperson for the Naxals, and Kosa, also known as Sudhakar Reddy.
