The monsoon season is nearing its end across several regions of the country. However, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) anticipates significant rainfall in various areas as the season draws to a close. Specifically, Southern India and the Northeast are expected to experience substantial rainfall. A low-pressure area has formed over the coastal regions of West Bengal, northern Odisha, and the northern Bay of Bengal. Another low-pressure area is likely to develop near the northwest and central Bay of Bengal around September 25th. This could trigger heavy to very heavy rainfall in many states before the Dussehra festival.

Delhi, the nation’s capital, has seen the end of the rainy season. There is no expectation of rain in the region for the next five days, until the 29th. People are experiencing warm afternoons, while the nighttime temperatures remain normal. The sky in Delhi will remain clear until the 26th. From the 27th to the 29th, the sky will be partially cloudy.

    **Weather in Uttar Pradesh:**

Uttar Pradesh is currently facing intense heat. According to the weather department, eastern Uttar Pradesh might experience localized rainfall and thunderstorms today, while western Uttar Pradesh is expected to remain dry. Similar conditions are predicted for tomorrow, with a chance of rain and thunderstorms in eastern Uttar Pradesh, and clear weather in western Uttar Pradesh.

    **Rainfall in Bihar and Jharkhand:**

The weather in Bihar is expected to be mixed today, with heavy rainfall in some districts and sunshine in others. Heavy rainfall is expected in Kaimur, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Gaya, Supaul, Araria, and Kishanganj. The possibility of heavy rainfall has been predicted in Patna, the districts of South Bihar, and the Seemanchal districts. The meteorological department has issued a warning of heavy rainfall and thunderstorms for the southern districts of Jharkhand for the next three days.

    **Rainfall in Other States:**

Odisha is expected to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall until the 26th, and Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on the 26th and 27th of September. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely in the Konkan, Goa, and Ghat areas of central Maharashtra from the 25th to the 29th of September. Meanwhile, in Kolkata, West Bengal, the streets and railway yards are flooded. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is possible in Kolkata until the 26th.

    **Mountain Weather:**

Heavy rain accompanied by strong winds is expected in Uttarkashi, Bageshwar, Dehradun, Chamoli, Nainital, Rudraprayag, and Pithoragarh in Uttarakhand for the next 3 days. The monsoon is expected to recede soon from Himachal Pradesh. The weather department has predicted rain in several areas of the state today and tomorrow.
