In his 126th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat,’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation, highlighting the upcoming centenary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He reminisced about the establishment of the RSS on Vijaya Dashami in 1925, noting the context of India’s subjugation and the organization’s commitment to selfless service and discipline. Modi emphasized the RSS’s role in nation-building, particularly its presence during natural disasters, and underscored the priority of ‘Nation First’ in the lives of its volunteers. The Prime Minister also mentioned the recognition of Kolkata’s Durga Puja by UNESCO and paid tribute to Lata Mangeshkar on her birth anniversary.
