Speculation is mounting that Samsung will soon begin manufacturing foldable screens for a new Apple device. Lee Cheong, president of Samsung Display, has confirmed the mass production of OLED panels for foldable phones. While the specific company name was not disclosed, it is widely believed to be Apple. The rumored iPhone Fold is expected to feature a 5.5-inch cover display and a 7.8-inch folding screen, along with a side-mounted touch ID sensor. Initial rumors point towards a potential launch date in September 2026, coinciding with the iPhone 18 lineup, though this timeline remains subject to change.
