Following recent reductions in GST on motorcycles and scooters up to 350cc, Yamaha Motor India has revised the prices of its R3 and MT-03 models. Both bikes have become approximately ₹20,000 cheaper. The Yamaha R3, previously priced at ₹3.60 lakh, now costs less, while the MT-03, which was priced at ₹3.50 lakh, has also seen a price reduction of ₹20,000. Upon their initial launch in India, the prices of the R3 and MT-03 were met with some criticism, prompting the company to previously reduce prices by up to one lakh rupees. The latest price cuts are a result of the government’s GST reduction, further benefiting consumers. It’s important to note that the current R3 and MT-03 models available in India are the older versions. Yamaha launched the latest versions of both bikes in the international market last year, but the arrival of the new models in India is yet to be confirmed. For those considering purchasing these 321cc Yamaha bikes, this may be an opportune moment. Potential buyers can visit their nearest Yamaha Blue Square dealerships to explore available offers. During the festive season, Yamaha dealerships might offer additional incentives, including exchange offers, corporate discounts, and bonuses.
