BSNL Introduces VoWiFi Service, Enabling Calls Without Mobile Network Reliance

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a new VoWiFi (Voice over Wi-Fi) service, allowing users to make calls using a Wi-Fi connection instead of a cellular network. This innovative feature is initially available in select regions, positioning BSNL alongside competitors like Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone-Idea, which already offer similar Wi-Fi calling capabilities. The VoWiFi service is designed to enhance connectivity in areas with weak mobile signals, making it particularly useful for users in low-network zones. The service requires compatible smartphones, with the VoWiFi option typically found within the device settings.
