Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared that India’s stance on terror attacks has fundamentally changed. Gone are the days of silence; India now delivers a robust response through surgical strikes, air strikes, and strategic operations like the recently highlighted ‘Operation Sindoor’. This shift signifies a new era of decisive action against terrorism. Modi highlighted India’s remarkable economic journey, moving from the ‘Fragile Five’ to become one of the world’s top five economies. He pointed to impressive economic indicators, including inflation below 2% and growth exceeding 7%, underscoring India’s self-reliance and growing confidence across all sectors, from small businesses to major industries.

The Prime Minister emphasized his government’s approach to reforms, contrasting it with previous administrations. He stated that while past governments enacted reforms out of necessity, his government pursues them with conviction, transforming every perceived risk into an opportunity for growth and resilience. This proactive strategy, he explained, has fostered a culture where resilience leads to revolution. Addressing global economic uncertainties, Modi noted that India has defied expectations, continuing its trajectory as the fastest-growing economy even as other nations faced headwinds.

Looking ahead, Modi asserted that India is on an unstoppable path, propelled by the collective momentum of its 1.4 billion citizens. He envisions an India that neither pauses nor slows down, confidently moving forward in every sphere, from advanced technology (‘chips’) to maritime capabilities (‘ships’). He also touched upon the legacy of past policies, contrasting them with his government’s focus on democratizing financial and other institutions, which he believes is crucial for sustained progress. Modi concluded by highlighting the power of the Indian people as the nation’s greatest strength, thriving when free from government intervention, and positioning India as a trusted global partner and a land of immense opportunities.
