    The Indian film industry is in mourning following the passing of veteran actor Satish Shah on Saturday. Known for his impeccable comedic timing and memorable roles, Shah’s demise has sent waves of grief through Bollywood. Tributes have poured in from across the fraternity, celebrating his immense contribution to cinema and television.

    Superstar Amitabh Bachchan expressed his sorrow in a heartfelt blog post, reflecting on the loss of a “young talent” and the challenging times that seem to overshadow the industry. He spoke of the difficulty in maintaining normalcy when such profound losses occur.

    Salman Khan shared a poignant photograph from a past film scene, reminiscing about his long acquaintance with Shah and wishing his soul peace. “Life lived kingsize,” Khan captioned the post, underscoring the actor’s vibrant persona.

    Sushmita Sen, who shared screen space with Shah in the popular film ‘Main Hoon Na’, took to Instagram to express her gratitude for his presence in their lives. “Thank you for gracing our lives!! Rest in peace Sir, Satish Shah,” she wrote.

    Vivek Oberoi offered a touching tribute, remembering Shah as someone who “lit up every room.” He recalled Shah’s supportive role during his debut film ‘Saathiya’ and his beloved character Indravadan Sarabhai, highlighting his kindness and grace.

    Many other prominent figures, including Priyanka Chopra, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, M. Madhavan, Paresh Rawal, Anupam Kher, Johny Lever, Farah Khan, and Karan Johar, also shared their condolences and fond memories of the late actor.

    Johny Lever, a close friend of over 40 years, shared a throwback picture, calling Shah a “great artist” and expressing disbelief at his passing. He emphasized Shah’s unforgettable contributions to film and television.

    Farah Khan fondly remembered working with Shah on ‘Main Hoon Na’, describing him as a “joy to know and work with” and noting his daily habit of sending memes and jokes.

    Anupam Kher, who collaborated with Shah on numerous films, shared an emotional video, recalling his co-star’s humor and “great general knowledge.”

    Hrithik Roshan acknowledged Shah’s kindness to him as a newcomer on set, stating that his “humour and legacy will continue to inspire.”

    Co-stars from the beloved sitcom ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’, including Rupali Ganguly and Sumeet Raghavan, were present at his cremation, bidding a tearful farewell to their colleague and friend. Satish Shah passed away at the age of 74 due to kidney-related complications. His extensive filmography includes iconic movies such as ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro’, ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain’, and ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’.
