During a recent Congress training camp in Madhya Pradesh, senior leader Rahul Gandhi accepted a unique form of discipline for arriving 10 minutes late. He performed 10 push-ups as a penalty, adhering to a rule set by the AICC Training Department head, Sachin Rao. This initiative is part of the Sangathan Srajan Abhiyan (SSA), a nationwide drive aimed at strengthening the party’s organizational structure, which is currently underway and set to conclude on November 11. Congress leaders emphasized the strict adherence to discipline within the party, highlighting a democratic environment where all members are treated equally, contrasting it with the BJP’s alleged ‘bossism.’ This visit marks Rahul Gandhi’s second to Madhya Pradesh in five months, underscoring the party’s focus on rebuilding its presence in the state, with a long-term goal of regaining power by 2028. Following the camp, Gandhi proceeded to Bihar for election campaigning.
