Jerusalem: Relations between Israel and India remain robust, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office emphasizing unwavering confidence in India’s security arrangements following the postponement of his planned December visit. The Israeli PMO clarified that the trip, rescheduled for an unspecified date, was not due to security concerns. Instead, they affirmed the strong personal bond between Netanyahu and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and stated that both nations are actively coordinating to establish a new visit date. This strong diplomatic ties were highlighted in October when PM Modi congratulated Netanyahu on the progress of the Gaza Peace Plan, a US-facilitated initiative. Modi praised Netanyahu’s leadership, expressing hope for the release of hostages and increased humanitarian aid for Gaza, which he believed would contribute to regional peace. Earlier discussions also saw Modi congratulating former US President Donald Trump on the success of the historic Gaza peace plan.
