The Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026 auction is underway, with all five franchises converging in New Delhi to build formidable squads. The event kicked off with a high-stakes marquee set, featuring eight prominent players. Top names like Deepti Sharma, Amelia Kerr, and Sophie Devine quickly found new teams. In a surprising turn, Australian captain Alyssa Healy remained unsold. The auction is actively shaping team rosters with significant signings. An updated list of all players sold so far is being regularly refreshed.

The WPL 2026 season is slated to commence around January 8 or 9, with Mumbai and Baroda confirmed as the host cities. The iconic D.Y. Delhi Capitals recruited Laura Wolvaardt for ₹1.10 crore, Chinelle Henry for ₹1.30 crore, Shree Charani for ₹1.30 crore, Sneh Rana for ₹0.50 crore, Lizelle Lee for ₹0.30 crore, and Deeya Yadav for ₹0.10 crore.
