In a shocking turn of events in Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, a woman’s life was cut short by her immediate family members following a dispute over her lifestyle choices. The victim, Durga Chaudhary, was reportedly a chronic drinker, a habit that her husband and daughter had repeatedly asked her to abandon. Tensions reached a breaking point on the evening of December 29, when a verbal spat turned into a deadly encounter. In a fit of rage, the husband and daughter attacked the woman, inflicting severe physical trauma. Neighbors alerted the authorities, and the victim was transported to a medical facility in critical condition. Despite the efforts of the medical staff, Durga Chaudhary passed away. The police have registered a case of murder and have successfully apprehended both the husband and the daughter. They are currently being held in judicial custody while the investigation continues to gather forensic evidence from the crime scene.
