In a blistering critique, Uttar Pradesh minister Sanjay Nishad has forecasted the end of Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav’s winning streak. Speaking in Lucknow, he asserted that the SP’s 37 Lok Sabha seats from 2024 would prove fleeting, with ’27’s reality shattering the ’37’ bravado.’ This comes amid ongoing political sparring post-elections.

Nishad began on a positive note, praising the appointment of BJP’s new national president. ‘It’s the beauty of BJP that a commoner becomes national chief—this exemplifies true democracy and organizational strength,’ he noted.

Addressing the tensions between Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand and administration at Prayagraj’s Sangam, the minister urged detachment from luxuries. ‘Saints embody tapasya; society progresses by emulating their sacrifices, not by pampering them materially.’

Lashing out at Digvijaya Singh’s Congress barbs against RSS, Nishad defended the Sangh. ‘RSS dedicates itself to seva, unlike Congress’s divisive tactics. They should look elsewhere if RSS bothers them.’

On soured India-Bangladesh relations, Nishad pointed fingers at Dhaka’s leadership. ‘ Historic friendship sours under misguided regimes. Despite India’s sacrifices in their creation, anti-India radicalism festers—India will deliberate strategically.’

Nishad branded SP as issue-less and deceptive, vowing a 2027 rout. His multifaceted commentary highlights BJP’s aggressive posturing, promising riveting electoral drama ahead in India’s most populous state.
