    As India prepares to celebrate its 77th Republic Day on January 26, 2026, the grand parade on Kartavya Path will feature 30 mesmerizing tableaux. Seventeen from states and UTs, and 13 from central ministries and services, all unified under themes ‘Mantra of Freedom: Vande Mataram’ and ‘Mantra of Prosperity: Atmanirbhar Bharat.’ This year’s displays honor the 150th anniversary of ‘Vande Mataram,’ weaving tales of patriotism, self-sufficiency, cultural diversity, and cutting-edge progress.

    Each state brings its unique flavor. Assam’s terracotta wonder from Asharikandi village steals the show with intricate clay masterpieces. Chhattisgarh echoes the freedom anthem directly. Gujarat merges swadeshi ideals with self-reliance and Vande Mataram. Himachal Pradesh pays homage to its sacred hills and brave warriors.

    Jammu and Kashmir dances to folk rhythms amid handicrafts. Kerala proudly displays its Water Metro and full digital literacy drive. Maharashtra’s Ganesh festival tableau symbolizes communal self-reliance. Manipur charts a path from farms to international trade. Nagaland’s Hornbill extravaganza fuses tradition, tourism, and economic independence.

    Odisha transitions from earthen roots to tech hubs. Puducherry evokes artisanal heritage and Auroville’s utopian dreams. Rajasthan’s Bikaner gold craft gleams in the desert sun. Tamil Nadu radiates self-reliant prosperity. Uttar Pradesh revives Bundelkhand traditions, West Bengal relives its revolutionary past, Madhya Pradesh venerates Ahilyabai Holkar’s legacy, and Punjab remembers Guru Tegh Bahadur’s sacrifice.

    Central tableaux pack a punch too. Air Force honors ex-servicemen’s role in nation-building. Navy sails on waves of maritime prosperity. MES triumphs with Operation Sindoor’s joint forces victory. Culture Ministry invokes Vande Mataram as the nation’s heartbeat. Education department advances NEP 2020 towards a developed India.
