Bhopal erupted in political heat as Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur, ex-BJP MP, unleashed a scathing attack on Digvijay Singh for his provocative remark that India has no true Hindus. Labeling him unreliable, Thakur recalled his history of branding Hindu symbols as terror-linked.

‘Congress has no ideology; Digvijay is a prime example of duplicity,’ she stated firmly. ‘He now lauds RSS but once called it terrorists post-26/11 in his book. His words carry zero weight.’

In a veiled jab at Rahul Gandhi, Thakur quoted Chanakya: ‘No son of a foreigner can govern justly or love the nation.’ This resonated with her audience, amplifying cultural nationalist sentiments.

On Mamata Banerjee, Thakur was unrelenting: ‘Forget Mamata Didi; she’s Mumtaz now, siding fully with one community. Bengal needs real change—BJP’s government will bring prosperity with divine blessings.’

Addressing Hindu persecution in Bangladesh, she cited Deepu Das’s killing as part of systematic targeting. ‘Power shifts are essential for equitable rule,’ Thakur demanded, calling for systemic reforms.

This exchange highlights escalating tensions between BJP and Congress, with Thakur positioning herself as a staunch defender of Hindu interests in a polarized landscape.
