    Raipur January 23, 2026/Under the Raipur Literature Festival 2026, a thought-provoking discussion session was held in the Aniruddha Neerav Mandap as part of the series of sessions organized on the theme “From Beginning to End”. Focused on the topic “Digital Literature: A Challenge for Publishers”, this session involved a serious discourse on the changing nature, possibilities, and challenges of literature publishing in the digital age.

    In the session, Mr. Prabhat Kumar, representative of Prabhat Prakashan, Delhi, shed light on the impact of digital mediums, stating that e-books, audiobooks, and online platforms have provided new opportunities to reach a wider readership. Simultaneously, he also highlighted that due to digital transformation, traditional publishing models are facing new competition and structural challenges.

    The session’s moderator, Dr. Sudhir Sharma of Vaibhav Prakashan, Raipur, advanced the dialogue on important aspects such as digital technology, copyright protection, changing reader interests, and maintaining literary quality. The speakers emphasized that by embracing digital mediums not as a challenge but as an opportunity, literature publishing can be further strengthened through innovation.
