    In a momentous occasion amid Republic Day fervor, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday handed out appointment letters to more than 61,000 young recruits at the 18th Rozgar Mela. This initiative from various central government ministries and PSUs signals a robust push toward job creation and youth empowerment.

    Speaking directly to the appointees, the Prime Minister likened their career starts to the blossoming of spring, coinciding perfectly with the constitutional festivities. ‘These letters are your commitment to building a developed India,’ he asserted, framing the event as a pivotal step in national reconstruction.

    With India boasting the world’s largest youth population, the government has prioritized opportunity generation. International trade pacts and mobility deals are paving ways for global careers. India’s digital prowess and exploding creator economy are turning it into an innovation epicenter.

    The PM spotlighted economic milestones: India’s GDP doubling in a decade, FDI from over 100 nations multiplying 2.5-fold since 2014, all translating into job booms. Reforms are easing business operations, fostering an investor-friendly climate.

    A special applause for the 8,000-plus women appointees, as female labor participation has nearly doubled over 11 years. Manufacturing sectors shine bright—electronics output up six times to exceed Rs 11 trillion, exports at Rs 4 trillion-plus. Automotive industries exemplify rapid expansion in both making and selling abroad.

    Over the years, Rozgar Melas have institutionalized mass recruitments, integrating lakhs into public service. Today’s cohort of over 61,000 joins this elite force, driving India’s vision of self-reliance and global leadership.
