Himachal Pradesh dawned into its 53rd Statehood Day on Sunday, enveloped in a wave of patriotic zeal and joyous festivities. From the highest echelons of leadership, warm greetings poured in, with President Droupadi Murmu setting the tone for a prosperous tomorrow.

Rashtrapati Bhavan’s X handle shared President Murmu’s message: ‘Heartiest greetings to all residents of Himachal Pradesh on its Full Statehood Day. This land, dubbed Devbhoomi for spiritual heritage and Veerbhoomi for martial traditions, is endowed with nature’s infinite bounties that draw admirers from afar. I trust Himachal’s diligent citizens will keep contributing significantly to national construction and security. Wishing a golden future to every individual in the state.’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi followed suit on X, emphasizing the state’s cultural and natural synergy. ‘My best wishes to the entire Himachal family on Full Statehood Day from the land where nature meets culture. Their innate brilliance and bravery have eternally served Bharat Mata. Praying for their luminous future and Devbhoomi’s flourishing growth.’

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla’s tribute painted a vivid picture of the state’s allure. ‘Warmest congratulations to the people of Himalayan-girdled Himachal Pradesh, the Devbhoomi, on Statehood Day. Celebrated globally for pristine landscapes, tranquil ambiance, vibrant culture, welcoming populace, and revered faiths, may it stride towards unending advancement, wealth, and equilibrium. Let its residents fortify Himachal’s proud legacy amid joy and vitality.’

BJP chief JP Nadda chimed in, ‘Best wishes to Himachal residents on the Foundation Day of this divine land brimming with matchless scenery and storied legacy. May the divine bless it with perpetual evolution, affluence, and ascent.’

Since gaining full statehood in 1971, Himachal has evolved into a beacon of sustainable development, tourism, and resilience. The synchronized voices of national leaders amplify the occasion’s significance, reinforcing unity and aspiration. As parades, cultural programs, and community events light up the hills, Himachal reaffirms its commitment to progress, blending tradition with modernity in the heart of the Himalayas.
